Little Charlie Baty was born Charles Baty in Sacramento, CA, on July 10, 1953.
Baty is best remembered as the guitarist and co-leader of Little Charlie and
the Nightcats, a jumping electric blues and swing revival combo that was
active from 1976 to 2008.

Screamin’ Jay Hawkins was born Jalacy J. Hawkins in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 18, 1929. Hawkins was famed chiefly for his powerful, shouting vocal delivery and wildly theatrical performances of songs such as “I Put a Spell on You.”
