Blues shouter Roy Brown is today’s featured artist. Born Roy James Brown in Kinder, Louisiana, on September 10, 1920 or 1925, Brown scored 14 national R&B hits
from 1948 through 1951, plus an additional hit with “Let the Four Winds Blow”
in 1957. He wrote hits for Wynonie Harris, including “Good Rockin’ Tonight.”
