This is the second Sunday of WRFG’s 2024 Fall Fund Drive and because our fund drives shows don’t always make the best podcasts, we’re bringing our podcast listeners a special encore presentation of our show for October 2, 2022.

Click here for the playlist for our 10-2-22 show.

For our fund drive, we’re presenting week two of celebration of Ray Charles. Born
Ray Charles Robinson in Albany, Georgia, on September 23, 1930, Charles pioneered the soul music genre during the 1950s by combining blues, jazz, rhythm and blues,
and gospel styles into the music he recorded for Atlantic Records.
