This is the final Sunday of WRFG’s 2024 Fall Fund Drive. Fund drives shows
are a lot of fun to do, but they don’t always sound that great if you’re listening later
in your car or office, so I recorded a special version of this week’s show just for
our podcast listeners.

Enjoy!

For our fund drive, we’re presenting week three of celebration of Ray Charles. Born
Ray Charles Robinson in Albany, Georgia, on September 23, 1930, Charles pioneered the soul music genre during the 1950s by combining blues, jazz, rhythm and blues,
and gospel styles into the music he recorded for Atlantic Records.
