Jump Blues Era of the 1940s which blended into the early Rock & Roll Era
of the 1950s, and follow on how those styles and artists have evolved over
the years. We also bring you jazz from the era along with the occasional page
from the Great American Songbook.

Born Michael Leonard Mann in Los Angeles on March 17, 1954
Hollywood Fats was a guitar virtuoso. He was one of only a f
ew West Coast blues musicians of his generation who incorporated
jump blues into his sound.
He was active from the mid-1970s until his death in 1986.
